South Staffs appoints new chief after Newland moves to lead group

South Staffs Water has appointed Andy Willicott as managing director.

Willicott (pictured) join South Staffs from Bristol Water where he was transformation director. Previous roles include executive director at Pennon Group and chief operating officer for Sydney Water in Australia.

He succeeds Phil Newland who has been appointed as chief executive of the water company’s parent, South Staffordshire.
