Aquateca applies for water and sewerage retail licences

Burnley-based Aquateca has applied for water supply and sewerage licences to provide retail services to the business water retail market. Aquateca said it intends to become a “highly cost-effective provider of water and waste- water services” in the English non-domestic water market. It said most of its customer interactions will take place through an online customer portal with overheads minimised to enable it to compete on “low prices and excellent on-line customer service.”
