Water minister "incredibly grateful" for water workers' service during pandemic

In an open letter, water minister, Rececca Pow has expressed her admiration of the water industry and declared was she was “incredibly grateful” for its work during the current pandemic.

Pow wrote to the sector: “Your role as key workers is vital and I want to pay a tribute to all of you for delivering an essential service upon which many of our critical sectors, and we as people depend upon.”

The said she was “incredibly grateful for the proactive approach and the extraordinary effort” the industry workers had shown in keeping vital services running.

She reiterated: “I am incredibly grateful for and proud of the commitment and dedication which you have all demonstrated.”
