New code change to increase consistency of vacancy incentives

On Friday, a Code change was made to help standardise how wholesalers apply vacancy incentives.

The Retailer Wholesaler Group worked up a proposal to bring some administrative consistency to how the wholesalers that offer incentives apply them (not all do, and those that do do so in different ways, increasing cost and complexity for retailers).

CPW083 introduces the Vacancy Incentive Scheme Guidance as part of the Wholesale Retail Code (WRC) to help ensure that the administrative processes that sit underneath any incentives offered are consistent across the market.
