Water UK appoints Ferrar as new chair

Water UK has appointed former SES Water chief, Anthony Ferrar, as its new chairman.

Ferrar (pictured) said the water industry had “achieved a lot already and has big ambitions for the future,” adding: “I’m proud to be able to play my part in helping to lead it forward.”

He succeeds Sir Brian Bender who held the post since 2015.

Ferrar retried in February from his post as SES Water’s managing director after 11 years.
