Former Met Office chief appointed chair at Anglian Water

John Hirst has taken over from Stephen Billingham as chair of Anglian Water.

Hirst has served as an independent non executive director on the board since 2016 and is a former chief executive of the Met Office.

Billingham retired as AMP6 ended after five years, seeing the company through the PR19 process; embedding purpose in its Articles of Association; and the recently CMA referral request.
