More than a quarter of households report bad experiences with water bill issues

More than a quarter of UK households have had a bad experience when reporting billing problems to their water supplier according to the findings from a recent survey.

Nearly a third of 1,000 UK households polled were neutral or unhappy with their suppliers’ handling of billing problems with only 16% saying their supplier demonstrated eagerness to address billing issues.

Criticisms levelled at water suppliers, according to the survey report by Echo Managed Services included difficulty in getting the supplier to listen and suppliers refusing to take responsibility
