Southern Water extends contract with Costain and MWH into AMP7

Southern Water has extend its AMP6 contract with a joint venture between Costain and MWH

Treatment into its AMP7 investment programme.

Under the extended contract the joint venture will provide consultancy, design, digital, construction and commissioning expertise. Costain's chief executive officer Alex Vaughan, said the firm had worked with Southern Water through the previous four AMP cycles, adding: "This contract extension is further testimony to the value of our long-term, strategic relationship.

Managing director of MWH Treatment, Paul Bresnan, said: “Along with Costain, we look forward to supporting Southern Water in meeting its targets while delivering excellent customer service, and having a positive impact on the communities we serve.”
