Source for Business bags £4.3m Britannia Hotels deal

October 5, 2019

Source for Business has won a £4.3m contract with the Britannia Hotels group.

The retailer, part of the Pennon Group, will supply water and wastewater services to the 66-site hotel chain, including site audits to identify water efficiency measures that will result in a lower carbon footprint.

Britannia has already saved £240,000 and Source for Business said the figure would grow as 10% of the total contract value has been set as a target for savings.

Britannia’s energy manager, Paul Ratcliffe, said: “Choosing Source for Business as our national water retailer has already given us the tools and visibility we needed to be able to achieve our initial targeted savings within four months. The savings, which have allowed us to offer even greater value to our customers, were achieved thanks to a combination of logger installations, leak detection exercises, site surveys and building optimisation exercises.”
