Arup and Costain joint venture wins health and safety contract with Yorkshire Water

A joint venture between consultancy, Arup, and infrastructure firm, Costain, has won a £2m, four-year Health & Safety Assurance consultancy framework contract as part of Yorkshire Water’s AMP7 capital investment programme.

The framework, according to the joint venture, will promote “collaborative working, innovation and continual operational improvement across the Yorkshire Water supply chain.”

It will provide expertise in construction, design and management, as well as regulation compliance, design phase process, and construction site safety to help Yorkshire Water “address key affordability challenges in the efficient delivery of its AMP7 investment programme.”

The joint venture is one of a number of water sector partnerships between Arup and Costain
