SES Water ups number eligible for halved bills to line up with other firms in region
SES Water has changed the eligibility criteria for its Water Support Scheme to increase the number of customers on its social tariff. The move will, it said, bring its scheme in line with those of Thames Water, Southern Water, South East Water and Portsmouth Water.
SES said the changes to its scheme were promised in its 2020 to 2025 Business Plan and formed its “first steps to create a cross-regional network of south east organisations supporting customers facing financial vulnerability.”
The company said the criteria changes include the removal of the need to be aged 62 and over, registered disabled or caring for a child under five.
