Customer contact outsource provider Echo Managed Services, has retained Northern Ireland Water’s metering and billing contract for two years.
Under the deal Echo will undertake field- and office-based work to ensure appropriate and correct billing for Northern Ireland Water’s 1.8 million customers. Its field teams are stationed at six Northern Ireland Water depots. Their key role is to visit customer premises to investigate individual cases, prioritising first time resolution and minimising repeat visits.
The contract builds on an existing long-term relationship between the two companies, said Echo. Head of metering and billing at Northern Ireland Water, Gary Curran, said: “We’ve enjoyed a productive and valuable partnership with Echo over the past 12 years and have been thoroughly impressed with the way the team has executed the more recent metering and billing contract.”
