Water UK re brands

Water UK publicly unveiled its new logo (pictured) and website last week.

Director of corporate affairs, Rae Stewart, said the former brand and identity were more than 20 years old and “the overall impression didn’t reflect the modern, innovative industry we have today”. He explained: “We wanted a brand that was more in keeping with the ambitious vision that the industry has set out for the years ahead, and for all of our public-facing material – whether it’s our publications, website, our social media channels and more – to be more attractive and accessible.

Water UK has been modernising and improving over the last few years, and the public profile of the industry as a whole has been increasing, so it was the right time for us to improve the way we look and sound as well.”

The web changes are to improve design and content, “providing a more user-friendly experience for visitors – including making it easier for people to find out important information about the industry’s record and ambitious future plans”.
