Thames partners with SSE Networks and Age UK to ease access to priority services

Thames Water has partnered with Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks and Age UK Berkshire to expand the reach of its Priority Services Register. Under the new arrangements, customers can sign up for the registers of both their water and power providers in a single place, and the charity will help spread the word.

As part of its £11.7 billion business plan for the next five years, Thames Water plans to increase this register seven-fold to more than 400,000 people by 2025, as well as offer discounts of up to 75 per cent for those who find it hard to pay their bills.
