South West Water appoints Crabtree as new engineering director

South West Water has appointed Matt Crabtree as its new engineering director.

Crabtree will join the business in October to succeed Graham Murphy, who is taking early retirement after more than 27 years with the company.

Crabtree (pictured) has some 30 years' experience in delivering capital solutions in regulated industries experience at high-profile companies in the UK, including Tarmac, Balfour Beatty, Kier Group and Costain Group.

He has worked with “a variety of water companies, including Severn Trent, Thames and United Utilities, and has extensive experience of working in alliances and partnerships,” said South West Water.
