Black & Veatch pair pick up Society of Women Engineers honours

The Society of Women Engineers has honoured President of Black & Veatch’s water business Cindy Wallis-Lage – a long-time advocate for women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics as well Transmission Line Project Engineer Adriana order who is also chair of the Black & Veatch Women’s Network.

Wallis-Lage was awarded the society’s Suzanne Jenniches Upward Mobility Award, recognising her “leadership of one of the world’s leading providers of water infrastructure,” said Black & Vetch. The society awarded Porter its Distinguished New Engineer Award, which recognises women actively engaged in engineering in the first ten years of their careers.
