Business Stream becomes first retailer to partner with Waterwise
Business Stream has become the first retailer to formally partner with Waterwise to promote the importance of water efficiency and conservation to business customers across the UK. Business Stream will work alongside the national water efficiency organisation and its existing partners to raise awareness with business customers, and to drive innovation and best practice.
Waterwise is keen to partner with retailers and identified Business Stream as an ideal supplier to work with based on what it described as the company’s “impressive track record in water efficiency”. Since retail competition was introduced in Scotland in 2008, Business Stream records that it has helped businesses and public sector organisations to conserve more than 24 billion litres of water, delivering over £53 million in water efficiency savings and £7 million in energy efficiency savings.
Nicci Russell, managing director at Waterwise, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Business Stream as our first retailer Affiliate, having already recognised the company’s commitment to water efficiency and their insight and experience.”
Jo Dow, chief executive at Business Stream, said: “The partnership further strengthens our commitment to promoting water efficiency and helping our customers across the UK to use less water. We look forward to sharing our insight and experience from the last ten years and to working with Waterwise and their partners to drive ambition and innovation in this space.”
