Liv Garfield down to final two in business leadership awards

Severn Trent’s chief executive Liv Garfield is one of two finalists for this year’s Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award.

The judging panel highlighted in particular Garfield’s ability to create significant growth within a FTSE 100 business while also investing in the communities in which Severn Trent operates. Christine Hodgson, member of the judging panel and chair of Capgemini, commented: “Liv is the FTSE 100's youngest female CEO and is an inspiring business leader, with a passion for customer centricity, operational excellence and responsible business.”

Garfield is up against Ruth Chapman, the founder of Matches Fashion. The winner will be announced on 9 May.
