Severn Trent appoints Northumbrian's John Devall to lead investment strategy

Severn Trent has appointed John Devall to lead the development of its long-term investment strategy.

The company said Devall will work closely with its executive to oversee its £6bn investment until 2020.

Devall will join Severn Trent from Northumbrian Water Group where he is director of water with overall responsibility for its water operations, long-term water resource planning, treatment works and water distribution.

He has almost 40 years' experience in the water sector.
