Coca Cola wins self supply licence

Ofwat has granted Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) a self supply water and sewerage licence.

The drinks giant has partnered with water management firm, Waterscan, which will:

• support CCEP’s licence delivery;

• act as its managing agent for retail

• functions including market transactions,

• data validation and bilateral communications; and, crucially,

• support the drinks manufacturer’s sustainability ambitions.

The licence will apply to ten manufacturing, warehousing and supply office sites in England where CCEP produces drinks.
