Government Strategic Policy Statement comes into force

DEFRA’s new Strategic Policy Statement to Ofwat formally come into force on 22 November.

The statement identifies securing long-term resilience and protecting customers as the government’s priorities for Ofwat’s regulation of the water sector in England.
