Carillion appoints Lovell as non-executive

Construction firm, Carillion, has appointed Consumer Council for Water chairman, Alan Lovell (pictured), as a non-executive director.
Lovell will, with immediate effect, serve on Carillion's Audit, Remuneration, Nomination, Sustainability and Business Integrity Committees. His career has included chief executive roles at Infinis, Costain and Jarvis.

Carillion chairman Philip Green said of Lovell: “He has very relevant experience of the challenges currently faced by Carillion and I look forward to his contribution as we move forward with our disposal and cost saving programmes while continuing our discussions with our lenders and other stakeholders to explore further ways of strengthening Carillion’s balance sheet”.
