British Hydrological Society elects Mott MacDonald technical director as president

Mott MacDonald’s technical director for hydrology, Peter Ede, has been elected president of the British Hydrological Society for the next two years.

He said his appointment came at a time when the the government's recognition of the importance of hydrology to the development of housing, transport and other infrastructure was growing

Ede has more than 30 years’ experience in the UK and in more than 30 countries.He specialises in catchment yield studies, reservoir operation, water resources management modelling and the assessment of climate change impacts on water resources.
