AWB wins health store chain contract

Anglian Water Business has won a contract to supply health store, Holland & Barrett, with water and wastewater services in Scotland and England.

The retail chain is already a customer of AWB in Scotland and in the Anglian region. Under the latest three-year deal Holland & Barrett will consolidate its water and wastewater contracts in England and Scotland with AWB for its its stores, warehouses and offices.

The new contract covers 455 Holland & Barrett sites initially, and will extend to 650 locations over the contract term

AWB anticipates the deal will bring immediate cost savings for Holland & Barrett and that further savings will follow the implementation of efficiency improvements.

Holland & Barrett ’s group procurement manager, Steve Lowe said “It was clear that Anglian Water Business could offer us proven high service standards while providing immediate and long-term savings and we look forward to a smooth transition.”
