WICS and Citizens' Advice Scotland unveil Customer Forum appointments

The Water Industry Commission for Scotland in collaboration with the Consumer Futures Unit at Citizens Advice Scotland (CAS) has announced its appointments to the Customer Forum for the Strategic Review of Charges 2021-27.

Peter Peacock (pictured), who chaired the Customer Forum last time around, has been reappointed. Joining him are nine members: Bob Wilson, Jo Dow, Agnes Robson, Andrew Faulk, Mairi Macleod, Rachel Bell, Stuart Housden, Sue Walker and Tom May.

The Customer Forum must now work to reach an agreement with Scottish Water on charges and service level priorities that deliver best value for customers. Anne Lavery, the acting chief executive of CAS, said: “The Customer Forum will place consumers and communities at the heart of developing Scottish Water’s business plan for 2021-27. It is an innovative and world-leading model, as the role of the OECD in evaluating the process demonstrates. We are pleased to have recruited such a capable team for the task ahead.”
