Dhot leaves Water UK

Water UK's head of corporate affairs, Neil Dhot has left the organisation “to take the next step in my career and take up a new challenge to broaden my skills and experience further,” he said.

Chief Executive of Water UK, Michael Roberts, said Dhot “played a major role in Water UK's work to represent its members.” Dhot (pictured) said of his time at Water UK he was: “very lucky to have worked with so many talented, hard-working and inspiring colleagues at water companies and stakeholder organisations.”

During his secondment to EurEau as secretary-general, based in Brussels he was a highly valued contributor to

THE WATER REPORT. His Europe Watch column provided insight and information on developments in Brussels since the magazine’s launch.

THE WATER REPORT editor Karma Loveday said: “Neil is well respected in the water sector I’m sure he will succeed in his future ventures. I wish him well.”

Roberts said Water UK is currently recruiting for a director of corporate affairs, and will be “bringing in some additional temporary resource to support the team until a permanent appointment is made.”

He has invited enquiries related to the association’s communications or public affairs work which should go to oturner@water.org.uk .
