First week in water retail competition

By the end of the first week of trading in the new business retail market, MOSL reported 8,876 premises had switched supplier. This incorporated those who pre-switched in the 6-23 March window, which allowed businesses who acted early to start out with their preferred supplier on 1 April.

Water Plus last week reported its national signing of Kwik Fit, a deal for 831 sites worth £650,000 a year. Water Plus said this was the largest switch by number of sites in the pre-switching window.
