Water Aid Scotland ball set to raise £100k

WaterAid Scotland’s Water Aid  ball is set to raise  £100,000  according to  the charity. The event was held in Glasgow on 10 March when THE WATER REPORT was among of several hundred  attending.



“We are delighted to announce that with over £20,000 raised on the night, we are on track to raise over £100,000 from the event,” said Water Aid Scotland.

  • The 24th annual World Water Day will be 22 March.  Water Aid has urged people in the water sector “to go #Blue4Water this year – wearing blue, eating blue and doing blue things,” to raise funds. Separately churches worldwide have united under the Just Water campaign banner – a programme of activity based around World Water Day to raise awareness and appreciation of water.
