Wessex Water’s head of wholesale services and business reform Steve Arthur has been appointed director of market performance at MOSL.
From 3 April, Arthur (pictured) will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operational performance of the non-household water market in England, including monitoring companies’ compliance with market standards and managing potential risks. His team will comprise the market operations team based in Holborn and MOSL’s field-based portfolio managers.
MOSL is reshaping its executive management team as it prepares to take on the role of market operator from April. Arthur will assume his responsibilities from the director of market services Martin Silcock, and the director of market engagement Tom Notman. Those two directors will continue their work until market opening and support transition to the enduring market.
Jennifer Mackenzie will take on the role of corporate affairs lead on 6 March. Together the two new appointees complete MOSL’s senior leadership team for the open market.
