South East appoints McLeod as chair of its Customer Challenge Group
South East Water has appointed Zoe McLeod (pictured) as Independent chair of its Customer Challenge Group (CCG).
McLeod’s background includes work for Consumer Focus, Citizens Advice and Friends of the Earth with a specialism in policy, communications and regulation issues. She has more than 10 years’ experience as a customer advocate with particular emphasis on vulnerable groups. She is currently and associate with the charity Sustainability First. and she has been a member of Ofwat’s, Expert Advisory Panel.
South East Water’s managing director, Paul Butler, said: “We are pleased to have someone of Zoe McLeod’s calibre on board. Our customer satisfaction measures were an innovative step for the industry at the last price review and Zoe’s experience will allow us to continue leading the way."
McLeod succeeds Roger Darlington, who served in the post for five years. Butler thanked Darlington for his contributions saying: “He has steered the group to a position of great strength and focus.
“We are confident Zoe will lead the CCG as Roger has done, making it one of the most engaged CCGs in the industry,” Butler added.
