Thames lures SSE finance director Rennet to complete all-new top team

Thames Water has appointed Brandon Rennet as chief financial officer. Rennet will succeed Stuart Siddall who retires in March 2017.

Rennet (pictured) joins Thames to form an all-new executive trio following the recent appointments of Steve Robertson as chief executive officer and the promotion of Nick Fincham to strategy and regulation director.

Rennet joins Thames from SSE where he had been managing director, finance since 2013. He has worked in the power industry for 14 years and has been with SSE since 2007. During his time at SSE he led the execution of more than £7bn in funding mainly in the public debt capital markets and presided over the company’s debt finance transformation programme.
