Water firms keep building performance for housing developers – latest figures

Water company services to house developers has maintained growth in its average performance since records began in 2015 according to figures released by Water UK.

 

During the second quarter of 2016 seven companies showed a drop in performance for water services relative to the previous three months but only two fell by more than one percentage point. In sewerage services five firms showed a quarter-by-quarter fall but only by less than one percentage point. In the year to date on one firm in the lower quartile recorded a performance below 94% at just over 86.5% while  in sewerage the back maker registered just below 96.5%.

 

The online system has been adapted to provide actual volumes of activity to enable better comparison of company performances.

 

“Although it is positive to see this improvement across individual metrics of performance, the water industry is committed to improving further from today's results. As such, further changes to the reporting system are being reviewed in response to comments from a range of stakeholders,” said Water UK.
