Key issues post Brexit - our research findings to come

On 5 August, Water UK chaired an important discussion on the implications of Brexit for the water sector. There remains great uncertainty on this, but our extensive discussions in and around the industry have shown the following to be key issues:

• loss of European Investment Bank funding

• the future of UK environmental and quality standards outside the EU

• customer and investor equity

• the legislative timetable and market reform.
